Beinn Eighe, west central wall – 26th June

I made this video of 2 climbers, Guy Robertson and Pete Benson, climbing on the west central wall, Beinn Eighe, Torridon. An abseil descent in 2 stages then 3 pitches of climbing.
Shoot the Breeze, graded E2 5c. The rock at the crux, high up, was a little damp but Guy who was leading had no trouble with it.

I have mentioned this could be a promotional video for a book project – Big Stone Country. Guy Robertson and Adrian Crofton are compiling a climbing book with chapters on some of the biggest, most remote high mountain cliffs in Scotland. Any one who sees this and perhaps has pictures or stories to tell should get in touch, and I will pass the info to Guy and Adrian.

And a wee video of the Great Prow area on Blaven, also in the book.
