Beinn Bhan 20th Jan

While the rest of the Highlands seemed to enjoy blue sky, cloud inversions and good snow cover, it was disappointingly cloudy on Beinn Bhan. Not much snow until about 600M, and only in strips and North/East facing aspects. What snow there was is excellent though. The top 100M or so of the corries are looking in good winter condition, but not much ice below that. Silver tear is forming but very thin. March Hares has lots of black where the ice should be. Turf only partly frozen.
